Can I just point out the unadulterated love and gratitude in David’s eyes in that second shot. This mini-ep brought these two men face-to-face with the joy they’ve brought to so many people through Who, and the joy they will continue to bring, for years to come. David’s childhood love of Who came through Peter Davison. David’s performance inspired Matt, and has brought a whole new generation of Whovians to the philosophy of childlike wonder and adventure inherent in the show. It gives me chills.

And let’s not forget these two men are family, now. Such a poetically fitting thing.

I must admit I teared up a bit to see this scene the first time when it aired. I will never have the chance to say those 4 words to John Pertwee.

Anime Boston and other things going on

Hey folks, i know ive been neglecting this channel, and i apologize for the lack of updates, but ill fix that soon enough.

Ive had my hands full with video projects, none of which really get off the planning phase, which is really me writing scripts for reviews. My previous reviews were trying to be like That Guy With the Glasses, and not enough like my own. I need to stop trying to copy someone else’s style and do my own. Which is why my upcomming review of the animated Return of the King will have my own spin on the video review.

Been doing a lot of work for prepping for Anime Boston, my first major con of the year. Ucon was a minor con and i dont really count it, but it was free so it was all good. I cant wait to see the RE5 Chris shirt my friend is making me, from the preview shots she put up, i love it. Just need to do some adjustments to my harness on the days i wear it, just so it has that right fit.

I know i really havnt done a lot with this thing yet, but im still trying to get into a routine to post every week or so, more so when it gets to con season, which starts next month.

I will be at AnimeBoston (april 22-24), returning to AnimeNEXT in June, going back to Connecticon and Otakon in July then im off to Greece for my sisters wedding.

going to be a busy summer, oh and ill be working too, thats kinda a big thing.

I was just thinking to myself about something, and i wonder if the true intention of why i did a video explaining something was even known. I did a short video after my friend asked me about a flag i have on my wall. It is the flag of the Duchy of Zeon from Gundam 0083, one of my favorite OVAs. A friend saw it in a video i made and thought it was something else, since it bares resemblance to something in history, or the Axis powers flag from WW2. The animators of the series did that on purpose since they were the Axis powers of the universe of Gundam, and Zeon are kinda nazis. So i made a video explaining what it is just as a precaution to avoid future mix ups. 

Thats all well and good but when i get some friends laughing at the fact i made a video like that, what the hell was i supposed to do, pretend it doesnt exist? I did this to clear any confusion up, not for it to be laughed and mocked at like it was when the video was shown. I was being serious and i get laughed at, what the hell is even wrong with some of my friends.

Whatever, i try to be serious and i cant be, and its taken the wrong way, fuck it.
